Everything Hailey Bieber Does To Stay Fit: Diet, Workouts + More

6 things Hailey Bieber integrates into her wellness routine

From what she eats to how she gets a sweat up, here's how the businesswoman and model keeps the balance

Hailey Bieber is more than just a supermodel and businesswoman, she’s become a global icon of wellness and beauty. Whether she’s helming her beauty brand, Rhode, serving epic looks in and out of the Pilates studio, or promoting her latest skincare products, her toned physique, and balanced approach to wellness, is hard to miss.

Behind Bieber’s enviable look lies a disciplined approach to health and fitness that underscores her busy lifestyle. Here, we dive into how Bieber balances a clean, but occasionally indulgent diet with an effective workout regimen so she can feel her best.

1. She opts for balanced meals

Too much or too little of anything can have negative effects on your health, so Bieber tries to keep her meals varied and balanced. “On a regular day, breakfast is usually eggs or oatmeal, some type of healthy protein, or a smoothie. Lunch is usually salad, fish, grilled veggies, or maybe a sandwich,” she told ELLE.

“I don’t really eat a lot of gluten so I’m trying to be particular. I love a good kale Caesar salad [but with] no croutons. That’s usually one thing I leave out. Dinner is usually kind of along the same lines [as lunch]; some sort of vegetable or pasta”.

2. She regularly shakes up her exercise routine

Back in 2021, Bieber explained to the Women’s Health US podcast that she utilises a wide range of workouts in her routine, rarely settling in to one area of focus to keep things entertaining. “I really like boxing and I’ll do a couple of sessions a week in the gym, weight training and cardio. Exercise keeps my mind and my body really healthy,” she said.

Like we said, Bieber likes to shake her workouts up. That often means doing Pilates, which she finds appealing due to her background in ballet. “I used to be a ballet dancer so Pilates for me gets my body personally in the best shape because it’s very elongating,” she explained to Women’s Health US. “A lot of the movements in Pilates are very similar to dance.”

4. So is hot Pilates

When she wants to boost the calorie burn from Pilates, Bieber will crank up the heat. “I’ve been doing hot Pilates for years now,” she told Vogue Australia. “I find that when you do any hot class your muscles are more pliable and you’re stretched out easier. You come out dripping in sweat and my face is like a tomato and it’s good for your skin! I love it! I’m obsessed and it’s addictive.”

5. She dabbles in pescetarianism

On a recent Instagram story, Bieber shared that she had been on a pescetarian diet for almost three months and had never felt better. “Over the past 2 and 1/2 months I completely cut meat (other than fish) out of my daily eating and have been sticking to more vegetarian/vegan dishes,” she said. “I have never felt better! Feel so clear and energetic. Just sharing for anyone who may be thinking about cutting out meat!”

6. Occasional indulgences are fine

As she explained in a recent interview with ELLE, Bieber will typically “try to be very strict about eating just for my skin and my body.” That being said, it’s not the end of the world for Bieber if she treats herself every once in a while. “[On a recent trip], I was eating whatever I wanted when I was there because it was just like ‘you’ve got to take advantage of those moments’,” she said.

“A cheat day for me, the first thing that I crave, I’ll eat. That’s my rule. So if I wake up and I want pancakes, I’m gonna eat pancakes. If I want a cheeseburger for lunch or for dinner, I’m gonna eat it. If I want fries, I’m gonna eat the fries.”

Now that’s a refreshing mindset.
